| Bio::Graduated from St. Mary's in Minneapolis. She has worked as a PACU Nurse for 22 years, both inpatient and outpatient facilities. Currently she is the Education Coordinator and Unit Preceptor at the St. Cloud Surgical Center in St. Cloud, MN. She is also a Nurse Research Consultant, Flight Nurse for Wings of Mercy, and has served in Guatemala as a PACU Nurse for HELPS International. | Bio: Graduated from Rochester Community College and later completed her BSN at College of St. Theresa in Winona, MN. Mary has been involved in a variety of committees both at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and in Arizona including an Electronic Perioperative Record Committee, Outpatient Practice Committee, and a Perianesthesia Practice Committee. She is currently the Assistant Nurse Manager for the Surgical Services Department at Rochester Methodist Hospital. | ||

| Bio:Kay started her nursing career as a LPN after graduating from New Ulm School of Practical Nursing in1973. Kay obtained her RN from Rochester Commmunity College in 1997 and obtained her BSN from Viterbo University in LaCrosse, WI in 2002. Clinical experiences include surgical/respiratory ICU 9 years, Emergency room 18 years at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester MN and for the past 6 years PACU/preop/outpatient surgery at Rochester Methodist Hospital. She has served on an out-patient practice committee and has been the chair person of a quality improvement committee in the past. | Bio: Desiree received her BSN from the University of Wyoming in 1996 and began her nursing career and Mayo Medical Center. Her clinical experience includes 15 months on a medical/nephrology unit, 2 years as a scrub/circulating nurse in orthopedic/plastics, 3 years in the medical ICU, and over 3 1/2 years in the perianesthesia practice setting. She currently works at Methodist Hospital in the PACU/PWA/Outpatient areas. She is a member of Perianesthesia Practice Committe and has been on the MNDAKSPAN Conference Planning Committee for the past two years. | ||

| Bio:Kim lives in Moorhead, Minnesota and works in Fargo, North Dakota. She is a 1978 graduate of the LPN program at NDSCS and a 1983 graduate of the Bismarck Hospital School of Nursing (now MedCenter One College of Nursing). Kim's eighteen years of nursing include thirteen years of PACU experience. She currently serves as the Supervisor of Dakota Day Surgery and has worked for the last seven years in the Ambulatory Surgery Setting. She is CAPA, ACLS and PALS certified. | Bio: Judy Hansen: Graduated LPN School in1966, in 1982 graduated from Rochester Community College with ADN, 1991 obtained BSN from Winona State University, December of 2004 obtained MSN from the University of Phoenix, became CPAN certified in 2002. Employed as a hospital based nurse by Mayo Clinic of Rochester since 1970, worked multiple areas, began working as a staff nurse in the perianesthesia setting in 1997, have been working as the educator for the Perianesthesia setting at the Rochester Methodist site since 2000. | ||

| Bio: Millie lives in North Hudson, WI and works in Minneapolis, MN. She has been a long-time member of MNDAKSPAN. Millie received her BSN through the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire in 1975. She worked in PICU and PACU until 1990 and has been a PACU nurse since 1990. Millie has experience as the PACU clinical educator and continues to be a preceptor for new staff. | Bio: Matt lives in Saint Joseph, MN and is an adjunct instructor for the College of Saint Benedict/St. John's University where he also obtained his BSN. He also works on a casual basis in the perianesthesia setting at St. Cloud Hospital. Previous to this he worked at St. Mary's Hospital, Mayo Clinic Rochester, where he started as a new grad in the perianesthesia setting. He has had six years experience in this area including preop, PACU, charge nurse, outpatient surgery and staff education. | ||

| Bio: Nancy lives in Bismarck, ND and works for St. Alexis Medical Center in Bismarck. Nancy received her nursing education at North Dakota State University. Nancy has been a nurse for 26 years. She has worked as a staff nurse in the PACU at St. Alexis Medical Center since 1987 and has been the Clinical Staff Educator since 1997. She has previously served on the American Board of Perianesthesia Nursing Certification (ABPANC) and was active on the item writing and exam construction committee. | |||
